Trip Overview

Trekking into this region will give you an exposure to the high and isolated Himalayan valleys that resembles Tibetan highlands.

The trek begins at Jumla and moves up to Gothi Chaur, then proceeds to Kagmara, way up to Kagmara La at 5115m, and descends to Tarakot before reaching Juphal, the end point of the trek.

The unspoiled nature around the magnificent Shey Phoksumdo Lake and the timeless and somewhat isolated villages along the trail are the major highlights of the trek.
