Trip Overview

This trip takes you on a whirlwind tour to three important tourist destinations in Nepal- Kathmandu, Chitwan & Pokhara. Explore old medieval palaces of the Malla era, ancient temples and monuments which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu.

Take on a wet challenge and go rafting on the rapids of Trishuli river. Discover the rich wildlife and bio diversity of Chitwan National Park by taking a jungle safari (elephant ride, canoeing, jungle walk). Chitwan National Park is home to the endangered one-horned Rhino, the Royal Bengal tiger and a host of other endangered flora and fauna. A visit to the scenic lake side town of Pokhara adds on to the fun factor. Go boating on the serene Phewa Lake, where the magnificent spire of the Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peak is reflected, discover the wonders of Davis Fall, Mahendra Gupha (cave), Seti Gorge and the island temple of Barahi. Catch the sunrise from Sarangkot and witness the magical experience of the rosy dawn breaking over the snowy spires of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Hiunchuli.  This trip encompasses culture, adventure and scenic Himalayan experience to make this an unforgettable experience.

Before You Go

All visitors except the Indian nationals must hold a passport and valid visa in order to enter Nepal. Visas can be obtained at the Nepalese diplomatic missions and consulates abroad and also at entry points in Nepal. In order to obtain a visa at the airport or any of the land entry points, you are required to complete a visa form and provide a recent passport photograph and payment in cash.

Gratis visa for 30 days available only for tourists of SAARC countries
Multiple entry 15 days – US$ 25 or equivalent convertible currency
Multiple entry 30 days – US$ 40 or equivalent convertible currency
Multiple entry 90 days – US$ 100 or equivalent convertible currency
Tourist Visa Extension
If you wish to extend your visa, you can do this at the Department of Immigration in Kathmandu
The visa extension fee for 15 days or less is USD 30 or equivalent convertible currency
The visa extension fee for more than 15 days is USD 2 per day
Tourist visas can be extended for a maximum period of 150 days in a single visa year (January to December)
