This trek takes you to a rarely visited trail in Western Nepal through fantastic scenery culminating at the spectacular Rara Lake, Nepal’s largest lake at 3062m.
The trek starts from Jumla, crosses the Ghurchi Lagna pass at 3450m and reaches the Rara Lake on the 5th day of the trek.
This breathtaking high altitude lake is bounded by conifer forests and alpine meadows. The southern and the northern skyline is covered by snow-capped peaks of Chuchemara, Ruma Kand and Malika Kand.
Migratory birds flock to this place making it a heaven for bird lovers.
