Trip Overview

Annapurna, the ‘Goddess of the Harvests’ in Sanskrit, is one of the most challenging mountains to summit in the Himalayan region. Risky not just for its height but also for its enduring and deceptive approach, the mountain is technically named as Annapurna I and is situated in the east of the Kali Gandaki River’s deep gorge.

First conquered by French mountaineers in 1950, Annapurna is the 10th highest peak in the world and alogside Mount K2, Annapurna is considered the world’s most dangerous mountain to summit.
