Essentially the final third of the Annapurna Circuit, this is another classic Himalayan trek, offering an incredibly diverse range of landscapes, cultures and astounding mountain views within a reasonable period of time and without ascending to extreme altitude.
Starting in the lush, sub-tropical Marsyangdi Valley with its Magar and Gurung villages and terraced paddy fields, the route passes through an alpine landscape of pristine rivers, waterfalls and dense forests before descending to the world’s deepest gorge to emerge in the arid Kali Gandaki Valley. The soaring peaks of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Himachuli provide a spectacular background to this beautiful trek.
